Let's introduce the musos
On Drums we have Cassius Muaiava-Sio who is also our Music Director. Majored at Drumming at Excel Performing Arts School & did a minor in vocals . Also drummed for church bands in NZ and here at our current church. Cassius comes from a family with a strong musical background and picked up drumming very quickly, his progress has been quite impressive. Rehearses for hours & prefers to sing if he's not drumming. He has played with the Reggae Soul Show Band and this sunday for Emily Williams in Coffs Harbor. He's also my Son, so I don't have to worry about anyone stealing him :P
Let's introduce the musos
Our Lead/Rhythm guitarist is Neville Pasese. He's played & jammed with other cover bands here in Sydney & back home in New Zealand. He still plays for church, keeping him on top of his game. Neville insists on playing songs the right way & is one heck of a skillful guitarist. He also is a very capable bass player but for now, he's K-GROOVE-NOW's guitar man.
On Keys we have our gentle giant Ben Robertson, brought up in church playing black gospel and hymns. Also from a family of musos. Ben is also the Music Director and Keys player for his church, and he's finding this journey with K-GROOVE-NOW a new experience & is adding another level to his musicianship. We also have Gabs from Ozki play for us from time to time & Ben Ackland a tutor at JMC when Ben Robertson isn't available.
Bass player, currently working with Session Bass Players at the moment. Vangel Dzepovski, Phil Scorgie, Mark Ramnac & Daniel Sing. Looking for a committed and advanced level bass player who's got a good ear and big on playing the right groove but also open to tweeking songs if need be. Must have own gear and transport. If you can make rehearsals friday nights, in St Andrews, Campbelltown pls contact me. Must rehearse songs in your own time and play and own the bass line like a Boss.
2nd Keys/Synthesizer player, also working with Session musos depending on their availability, I have not found anyone to just focus on KGN, so for now, I am using a few to hold us over. If you can play advanced level & play by ear, contact me. You must be committed to rehearsals friday night in St Andrews Campbelltown. INTRODUCING THE VOCALISTS
Lead Male Vocals is none other than the gifted Rellek Brown. He Has appeared and worked with other artists and is a very capable and confident singer. Rellek has an infectious smile & personality. He is the life of the party. He too has graced church stages & weddings, here and abroad. Possesses a strong voice & has excellent gymnastics & makes one want to groove. He brings alot of laughter & energy to the band.
Ronet Sio is also a Lead vocalists. A student, still young and discovering what she can do with her voice. She enjoys a wide variety of genres from Rock to African dance music. Learns her parts quickly whether lead or bv, I can trust she will sing the tune or harmony right.
Natalie Colavito of X-Factor Australia is our soprano powerhouse. An established singer in her own right, also travels with the Forever Diamond Show all over Australia. Natalie also works with the Mesa Groove Band & Oscar Kami just to name a few. A beautiful tone, belting out songs in their original keys from Aretha Franklin to Beyonce. This girl has got serious pipes and is sure to get you on that dance floor. Get along to check her out.

And there's me. I am the BandOwner/Manager and also one of the Lead Vocalist. No formal vocal training, just brought up on Gospel music & alot of good old Soul, Funk, Disco, RnB, Jazz, Poly-Gospel. I enjoy a good boogie to my favourite jams & a firm believer there's a song for every occassion. I support the LIVE MUSIC SCENE, and every chance I get, i'll get along to suppport other groups or artists. I must say I've been blessed with a bunch of musos and artists who share the same goals & my love for good music.
